LeaveCheck ("the app") reminds a person to check their belongings, such as keys and the gas, when they leave home. This policy explains what the app does with data. In short: everything stays on the phone, the app has no accounts and no server of ours, and we collect nothing.
The app reads the phone's location all the time, including when it is closed or not in use, to confirm that the person has left home. Where home is, and the last place a Reminder was given, are stored only on the phone.
The app reads the name of the Wi-Fi network the phone is connected to, to notice when the phone leaves the home network. Only the home network's name is saved, on the phone. The app does not scan for other networks.
The app reads the phone's activity signal, such as walking, to tell leaving home apart from a router restart. It is not stored as history.
Used only when a family member records a voice Reminder. The recording stays on the phone.
The things chosen to check, such as keys or the door, are stored only on the phone.
The app contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services and has no user accounts. Location leaves the phone only when the person opens directions, which sends the destination to the phone's map app under that app's own policy.
Uninstalling the app removes all its data from the phone.
